Many of us are like dandelions.
We make the most out of where life has planted us, even if it’s not our ideal conditions. We bloom bravely. We are incredibly determined and resilient. But at times, we become so focused on surviving that we forget we could be thriving.
Once we have grown to the space available and have extended ourselves as far as possible, we must turn our focus internally. It is time to focus all the energy we would put into growth back into ourselves, to nourish our roots, and start setting seeds towards more nurturing conditions.
Extending ourselves is admirable, but only if it genuinely supports our well-being and happiness; in the present and the long term. Growth should never come at a detriment to our health. Our worth is more than our work!
